What services do you offer?
We offer a wide range of services, including project planning and feasibility studies, drafting & design services for any residential construction, permit administration or consultation, and construction consultation before, during and after the permit process. We also offer Real Time drafting for current clients via Zoom meetings for those who wish to see design changes in 3D. The cost is $50 per 45 minute session.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
Yes! We provide online consultations for clients who prefer to speak and share documents/ photos in real time. All you need is a good internet connection and we will set up a mutually agreeable time for an online video meeting. Zoom and Google Meet are our preferred applications.
How much do your services cost?
Pricing depends on the size and scope of the project. After our initial consultation, we will provide an estimate for our services based on your project’s needs. The items that have the largest impact on pricing are: How do we obtain or create the As Built Plans, How much design work is required for your project, Will we be providing and managing all of the 3rd party consultants needed to obtain the permit, Will we be administering the Permit Process. All of these questions will be discussed during your free consultation. Contact us for a free consultation and estimate.
How long does a typical project take?
Project timelines vary. When a client signs their contract and pays the initial start-up invoice, that project will then enter our queue. Typical onboarding time for most projects is 2 weeks. Once the drafting has begun, a first rough draft is usually available within 30 days with smaller projects taking less time and the largest projects taking a bit more time. It is also of note that it is a common practice in this industry that projects which are in the design phase are secondary to projects that are in the permit phase therefore, some project timelines can be affected by projects in the permit phase that must take precedent.
Do you help with interior design or landscape design?
To a very limited degree. We do not perform these functions as a traditional Interior Designer or Landscape Architect would. We will help with a proper layout and issues that affect the livability of a residence but specifics on colors, brands, plant species or items of cultural/ religious implications are not our specialty.
